I’ve recently fallen down the rabbit hole of horse training youtube and literally all horse training techniques are just methods of managing anxiety. Maybe just getting a horse trainer instead of a therapist would be much more cost effective…
Put them in shower.
Turn shower on.
Leave. Eventually the soaked clothes and water will annoy them enough they’ll stop spiralling, at least.
Instructions unclear, my life is now the plot of a bad yaoi manga
I never remember which one yaoi is. Is it the girl-girl one or the boy-boy one?
Congrats on the shower loving either way.
Boy boy
You know, if thats where it ends up, that’s where it ends up.
I heard you do this also when someone is having a seizure.
Turn that panic attack into a panic assault
Sonic and Shadow seem to have the better idea
That’s just yelling from particularly close range

Where is this from?
Airplane!
I’m pretty sure this was shot on a set, not a real aeroplane
Some old racist, sexist, homophobic movie that’s always made me uncomfortable with how popular it is
What, have you never seen a grown man naked?
SLAP, SLAP
Calm down!
CALM DOWN!!!
CALM DOWN!!!
STOP RESISTING
When did my mother join Lemmy?
My buddy back in college used to have random panic attacks. A calm conversation about something unrelated and a bannana would help a lot.
Something about eating slowly seems to short circuit the panic part of the brain, or maybe the blowjob jokes associated with eating a bannana slowly
This ends the attack by causing a buffer overflow.
This is “download and send to the group chat” worthy, but I’m too old to deal with the “What’s that in the background?”
If you describe what’s happening in the background as you are sending it, they won’t have to ask what it is.
Also made it super bright, saved, and then lowered brightness to somehow get this on my phone.

😂 I didn’t even notice and had to go back for that.
Just send it and gaslight everyone that there’s nothing in the background.
“People see what they want to see”

This would work on me
This might actually genuinely help, depending on the panic attack, as your focus gets shifted from internal to external factors.
Like a fucked up form of grounding
NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE NIGHTMARE
