In a stunning admission, Leavitt told Bartiromo that mandatory conscription – not seen since the Vietnam War – had not been ruled out by her boss.

Yup. It’s easy to spot when “news” fits these criteria:

      1. Evokes emotional response
      2. Too dangerous to ignore
      3. Devoid of any proof of something that is actually happening or going to happen
      4. Plausible

The key here is that it’s noise designed to wear you out by provoking hypothetical scenarios in your head. This is intended to saturate the minds of the most dangerous opposition of all: The smart and educated. It’ll go flying right over the heads of everyone else, but they have other tactics for that.

It also doesn’t matter if they say they ruled it out and then do it anyway. Their cult worships them no matter what. I just saw a woman whose kid was murdered by ICE and she still supports Trump. Also his fans love the Iran war. The propaganda doesn’t even matter anymore, which is why it’s so sloppy and lazy, because their base will eat it up no matter what. They’re have complete faith in Trump. Hell, they’ll make up their own propaganda in their heads at this point, justifying literally anything.

If there is conscription, they’re going to use their social media data from meta and twitter, and any way they can, to select those who are most vocal about being against Trump, so that they die first, maga are happy because they dont go to war, and see trump sticking it to the libs. Meanwhile there are fewer libs to vote against him and fight back.

In fact, they’ll probably start by sending off those in swing districts, and may even let them vote abroad woth mail-in votes they intentionally dont deliver and cant be sued for doing so.

The russians do this. They wont be training you. They will wait with guns, give you a gun, and send you to kill or be killed, and if you dont, they shoot you. If you retreat, they shoot you. If you turn around and shoot back, they shoot you.

They aren’t going to send you there to be effective. You will be meant to die. But this firing squad will reveal information about the enemy when it kills you.

Y’all have fun, I’m old and my back is broken with lots of bone spurs. I’ll like a pea shooter though. I’m going to setup some chickens in the backyard and I gotta fend off some foxen.

If my back was good, I’d be out there, but this is my daily pain I gotta deal with.

Not training. They aren’t going to send you there to kill. They know you might have terrible aim on purpose and so on. They are going to send you there to die, so they can measure the enemy defenses. You will be forced to kill or be killed. If you are killed thats good for them. If you kill, thats good for them. You are disposable. Thats why you wont have rights, either.

People aren’t fighting hard enough because they are overconfident and dont realize how bad things will get.

Rounding up all the Americans that trash talk them will cause revolution. Its also logistical nightmare. Conscription is something they can do, and nobody will know their selection process. The Russians used this tactic, and im sure trump would use it, if he needed a meat grinder. The US army doesnt work like the Russian one, but Trump is a dictator and everything will be becoming more like russia going forward.

They’ll probably send all the “bad people” that ice has already picked up off the streets.

They are building databases. They will not just allow you to defy them. You are speaking freely to me right now because their power hasn’t grown enough. But it will get there, since nothing is preventing it. All that is left to prevent it is the people and they are doing nothing.

If they draft near-revolutionary people they get access to military equipment and incleases likelihood of actual revolution. If you concentrate them then they can coalesce as a group. If you spread them out then a lot of units will be dragged down.

Using ICE to round up dissenters avoids the risk of arming the would-be revolutionaries with credible military equipment.

You assume they will hand you working weapons, and not just hand you a stick.

You assume they will train you in how to use military tactics, and not just point the real gun at you then order you to run at the enemy in that general direction over there, so they can see where the bullets are coming from.

If you try to surrender to those at the other end, you’ll get shot in the back.

If you somehow make it over alive, they’ll know the general area and bomb it anyway.

We can’t assume they allow us any advantages, and need to plan for the worst.

We can see Russia doing this already in Ukraine, using conscripts with little to no training.

Americans already have access to firearms.

              They will not train them.

Yes, you will be shot if you surrender, or if you retreat. These conscripts will be meant to die.

I worried about conscription after 9-11 when I was in my twenties. I’m too old for this to affect me (I know, “total war”). Let the MAGA youth go get slaughtered. I truly no longer care. Fuck 'em. Anyone who objects, I hope you’re safe.

I used to be such a nice guy. Fuck you, MAGA. I’ve stopped hating you and I hope you die.

It’s a kind thing to hate MAGA. “Living and letting live” these people is only possible if you simply have the privilege to ignore what they are doing to those who don’t have that ability. That complacency completely strips any option of being a nice person away.

The hate you have for them is not the same hate they have for you. They hate as a basic instinct because they are afraid of anything they don’t understand and they refuse to ever learn anything new. You and I hate them because they’re taking that hate and literally killing innocent people over it before our eyes. Not hating them would be an awful thing.

Same here and I entered during the late 1980’s. In our ranks, we had plenty of Vietnam War NCO’s, with CIB’s, calmly explaining to us young cadets/officers what happened to the shitty leadership. Big reason why I do not to fuck with people and their lives when the shit is serious.

Gen alpha? The oldest gen a just started high school. So yeah I hope those voting gen a kids really get what they deserve.

I also have to speak on the matter of gen z. As an older gen z male (old enough that under current rules I can’t be drafted) I know the data holds that my demografic swung right in 2024. Not by as much as some act. But substantially enough to not ignore it. But I don’t know very many right wingers in my age group, so its hard to feel like something wasn’t missed. I would believe it if someone said that people my age were so far left that they refused to vote blue and that cost the election, but I can’t find any evidence of that.turnout was a bit lower generation wide, but not enough among men to make the argument that only the right wing men voted, unless there was a considerable surge among right wing youth turnout as well as a duo in turnout on the left for the same demographic.

But now I’m rambling. Either way, its hard not to see millenials turning on us as a betrayal even if we statistically deserve it. Growing up and seeing all the articles where millenials ruined this or that and always being able to clearly see that the fault was not on the young adults but the society and industries, if there was even anything wrong with the change anyway. And I think everyone felt that way, not just those of us who were left leaning.

And how I’ve had to drag some of the millenials I’ve known to see reason on trans issues and how they say the same things about me that people my parents age said about them it just really sinks in how cyclclical it all is and how no one tries to communicate on a level that actually breeds conversation. The brain sets as neroplasticity fades and now I am approximately who I will always be. And I hope I can look at gen alpha when they become adults and understand them, or at least try.
