I use LLM for pretty much everything code-related these days. I would never make contributions to a project like Zig that specifically deny my contributions. I mean why would I specifically try to help them by directly breaking the rules they have set?

There’s an infinite amount of work to be done, no reason to harass opinionated people like that.

I’m considering banning non-LLM contributions to my projects, but I think it might be a bit too early and bit too reactionary. The best way to show that people are wrong is to try do things better than they did, not to be an asshole towards them.

  • Granted, one of the biggest reasons communism is responsible for so many deaths is that it was adopted by high population countries like USSR and China. And of course if you frame it via colonialism, what Communism did is almost exactly what the West did in 1800s.

I think there are better arguments against Communism than the number of deaths. Like the reasons those deaths happened: inefficiency, corruption, working against human nature and centralization of power.
