It’s a kinda loose “genre”, of course, but one of my favourites. When speculative fiction gets freaky it really does it for me. New weird, as they call it, especially.

Not sure how Morrowind is new weird. Is it not just alien fantasy? Sure most fantasy is medieval european based but those that aren’t doesnt automatiically make them “new weird”.
Yeah I dunno, maybe due to how trippy the plot can get, but even then it’s a stretch.
