“I think all Americans — Democrat, Republican — should agree that we are the greatest country in the history of the world. We should have the safest and most secure elections in the history of the world,” Leavitt said.
“And what the president will be speaking about tonight will show you that perhaps that is not the case, and we need to make some adjustments moving forward, including the SAVE America Act,” she added, referring to the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE America) Act.
Leavitt pushed back against questions from reporters about why Trump won’t let go of the claims that the 2020 election was stolen and that he views this as more important than the economy and conflict with Iran.
“You’re jumping ahead to a conclusion in the speech before even hearing it yourself,” she said. “I think that everyone should tune in tonight, including the people in this room, and you should report on the president’s speech and the findings that he is going to reveal in the speech with a little bit of honesty and a little bit of integrity because … it will shock you if you have an honest eye listening to the president tonight.”
There are 4 boxes as related to a healthy democracy: the soapbox, ballot box, jury box, and ammo box.
The jury box didn’t work out with Judge Canon protecting him. The soapbox isn’t being healthy with how controlled it is. Now they’re going to fuck with the ballot box; a power reserved to the states. The only things that even allows the feds anywhere near that are the 15th, 19th, and 25th Amendments.
Now they’re trying to go beyibd that and take away the ballot box? That will ultimately leave only 1 box left.

States run their own elections. They can and will simply ignore whatever nonsense he says.
Yes. On which side of that do you think the national guardsmen will take? What about the Marines or the Navy Seals? What if he has ICE go do his bidding?
I think the national guardsmen will take the side of whatever the courts and/or their home states decide, which is exactly what happened with them after their deployments last year.
I think it’s a possibility that ICE could be hanging around polling places, but there are far too few of them and far too many polling places for it to be a meaningful difference.
My advice is to organize. Be a poll worker. Volunteer to escort people to the polls, especially if you’re a white male. Use your privilege for good. It has to be too big to rig.
The plan isn’t going to merely be ICE intimidating voters.
It’ll be ICE seizing ballot boxes/machines and either
Then, their plan is to fight it in the courts until the stolen “new congress” is sworn in
Then do your part and sign up to be an election judge. Nobody who is a poll worker has ever said that an election was stolen.
Yes that worked really well for Alex Pretti.

The federal government and the president control the military. You can’t beat Fascism by pointing to “process”.
Like, how the fuck many times does the “process” need to be violated for people to stop pointing to it as their protection?
Fascist take power by exploiting this exact type of thinking you are showing here. They don’t go “all at once”. They take steps forward and steps back. Pushing forward but keeping the idea of “process” for you to cling to.
“They can’t just do X because Y”
Then they do X, and Y is vaguely or partially pandered to by the “opposition”. Y fails to stop X completely, but “don’t worry” we still have Z and Z is really where they’ll be stopped.
Rinse and repeat. That’s how we got to this point.
Try that with stormtroopers at every polling place, see how it goes.
It’s not gonna stop me, is it gonna stop you?
Why are people so brain dead with their individualism? It’s not about you! I’m gonna assume you’re white and/or don’t have a family that you support.
You’re not “brave”. You’re either privileged or stupid if you don’t realize that having ICE agents at polling stations is going to intimidate people. Not because they are “cowards” or whatever you’re trying to imply. But because the average mother or father aren’t going to risk their family being separated or imprisoned.
You’re not brave for going to vote. If you want to be brave, go use your privilege on election day, organize with other privileged people, arm yourselves, and remove ICE from your city.
If you’re not willing to take THAT risk. Then stfu about your heroic act of “going to vote” when you clearly have no worry of consequence.
See my other comment where I call out my fellow white males to use our privilege and volunteer to escort people to polling places.
Respect. But, in the context I replied to I’ll still stand behind what my initial comment. Cheers.
Can, yes. Will? Not all of them.
