Stay on topic - China is literally surrounding Taiwan with multiple military exercises, making threatening comments, intentionally ramming ships with their ‘coast guard’ in other another country’s territory, making imperialistic claims to territory that doesn’t belong to them in the south china sea; they are an imperialistic aggressor and these actions should be called out just like the inexcusable US actions should be called out. This is the official territorial claim of the Republic of China (Taiwan), they literally claim that mainland China belongs to them (together with the entirety of Mongolia and several chunks from other countries). Taiwan is literally TODAY carrying out military drills in coordination with the US
I am familiar with the history of the ROC, but let’s be real - Taiwan has existed as an independent nation for a long time now and those land claims are bogus.
Those military drills are also literally in Taiwan to help prepare for a chinese invasion of their land. What a weird thing to compare to what China is doing.
