Would you say that you support a good cause by giving money? Like a donation for doctors without borders, or world central kitchen?

Are you supporting your family by paying their bills? Is the government supporting low income families by giving them money?

Your claim is that I am stretching the definition of support, by implying that giving money to companies doing all those bad things means supporting them, yet you have to agree that all examples above commonly are referred to as support.

That means you do in fact support (financially) the horrors described here if you buy milk and/or meat.

i can vote for a candidate without supporting every position they’ve had. i can buy a product without supporting all the labor practices of the company. to say i can’t is myopic.

You can do all that and deny that you support it, but by your actions you do indeed support it.

Or can you give money to a terrorist organization because you support their good humanitarian work in some region, without being considered a supporter of said terrorist organization?
