centi-billionaires are hoarding most of the us’s wealth, not boomers in general. fortune.con has a clear vested interest in keeping people fighting each other instead of fighting together.
i think “no war but class war” is an oversimplification most of the time, but when it comes to wealth hoarding, let’s focus on the centibillionaires who are hoarding literally hundreds of thousands of millions of dollars first.
bumblebees do form colonies with worker bees & drones & brood & a single queen, much like honeybees, but they’re much tinier than the ones you’d see honeybees in! sometimes they take over old bird boxes that’ve been abandoned, and they typically don’t even use up all the space there.
they’re smaller colonies population-wise, too. there’d be like tens to hundreds of bumblebees in their colonies, compared to tens of thousands of honeybees in their colonies.
idk how to add pictures to comments, but i recommend looking up pictures of them, they’re cute! bumblebee cells are just spheres, since they don’t have the numbers to require the intense efficiency of the classic honeybee hexagonal cells :D

these days, people want to be sure whether what they’re looking at was actually made by a human or not
in my opinion, no. an artist’s worldview informs their art, so things like racism/misogyny/ableism etc etc seep into the works they create. consuming media like that uncritically can be harmful by reinforcing biases, conscious or unconscious.
there’s also the more direct harm that can be done by financially supporting certain artists. jk rowling, for example, is funnelling any wealth she gets from the harry potter franchise into funding anti-trans organisations.
in my experience, people who want to separate art from the artist just want to continue uncritically consuming everything, without feeling guilt over the harm they could be doing by “voting with their dollar”.
the original photo was much more faded than the one posted here, so people’s colour perception depended on how yellow/blue they perceived the photo’s light to be tinted, and how bright/dark their screens were.
i can use the searchbar on jellyfin & if it’s not already there, i can request it using jellyseer within that same search bar, so it’s possible to integrate the two somehow.

not our queer elders in the baby boomer and silent generation who went through the aids crisis & saw so many governments intentionally do nothing to help them.
not the baby boomers and silent generation who were in the black panther party, the white panther party, and who were building the rainbow coalition & who got targeted because of it.
not the baby boomers who’ve been sent to prison in the US for contrived reasons, to intentionally rob them of their voting rights.
the worst people have been intentionally robbing good people of votes, or having them killed off. it’s just more visible in that generation because of the size of that generation, due to the post-ww2 baby boom they were named for.
