I loved that platform. Those were innocent days by comparison.

I’m sure it’s fully lost on that person. It feels so discordant to me.

When I was a shift lead at a Starbucks 20+ years ago in Tampa, after particularly rough mornings, I would load a couple of these up and offer them to my crew. “go into the cooler, sit down, have fun.”
We were the highest volume store in the area. On busy days, we’d do 20 gallons of whole and 15 low fat. Our tip differential was around 6-8 bucks over base pay, which was a big deal back then.

There’s no reason to use it anymore. I was using the OTR encryption protocol with it, which was the best there was to offer.
