no problem at all, but in some cases the power drain on the laptop could be larger than the amount being charged which makes it kinda useless unless charging while in powered off/suspend mode.

i used to use lemmy.sdf.org since I liked sdf.org, but it sadly isn’t maintained that well. lemmy.today seems to have no instance blocks, have good stability and support for the old reddit style frontend

same for korea, qwant used to work but they seemed to have blocked access around 2023 or so

eTools and DDG, sometimes google/startpage. I’m surprised how little known eTools is.

it seems like movim is the most discord-ish xmpp client

there are a lot more “news” posts than others, so this isn’t ideal if I want to read discussions in smaller communities sadly
