The only way I’m gonna believe is if greys land in DC, enter the White House, and drag Trump away for intergalactic trial because he also molested one of their minors.
Perpetually tired mental health counselor, sometimes retro game streamer, comedian, Mensan, coffee connoisseur, bacon lover, chronic pain survivor, nefarious pirate, and generally all-round nice dude…

Gotta love a website that covers most of your mobile screen with a privacy notice and makes the deny button unclickable…

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve liked Star Rupture so far, but am I playing it wrong? I was kinda expecting there to be regular attacks similar to Factorio. Instead, after 20 hours of play, I’ve seen only one and killed them all so fast it wasn’t even really a threat. I feel like the progression of conflict needs to be little more aggressive.
That’s especially coming from Creepy Jar. If you’ve never played Green Hell, which they’ve also got on sale under $3 right now, survival in it is absolutely brutal to start off. I was expecting that kind of difficulty curve.
This… Put games on your wishlist, set your wishlist to only show sales, and sort by price. Then only buy games from that list when they go on a significant sale. Plenty of decent games out there regularly go for $5-10 or less. With very few exceptions I refuse to pay more than $20-30 for a game and, even then, only if they’re like 50% off and not likely to come down.
Also… stop pre-ordering games. They’ll still be there when they do go on sale. You don’t need to play them as soon as they come out. Conquer that FOMO shit and develop some integrity.
Chrono Trigger had a similar effect on me, where Magus seemed like he just had to be the BBEG… Then you realize that was just the first drop on the rollercoaster.
