Govts around the world should be funding all sorts of FOSS projects. I know they do to some degree but not much. It benefits the whole world and only hurts big tech.
I live in a very tech-forward city. Was talking with some friends from Google and Cisco last night. One was talking about their KPIs for mandatory AI use and how coworkers are sharing internally new associated vulnerabilities every day. The other was the one responsible for pushing it and simultaneously talking about how much damage it was doing to the company. 😂

This is and has been part of Amazon’s contract to be listed on their site since the beginning. They are not even remotely the only one doing this. It’s an industry norm in digital storefronts. Valve has also been sued for this several times. I don’t know why we’re acting like this is a recent discovery.
We need to just ban this practice, because as long as they’re allowed to, they will.

I think being an active gamer is an important quality but it certainly doesn’t guarantee success. Certainly having never played an XBOX before in your life is a BAD BAD quality for XBOX leadership.

Once again “traffic aware cruise control” is still not the same thing as normal cruise control. I’ve had this car for 5 years, I know how to use it. It speeds up and slows down randomly and refuses to go above the speed limit at seemingly random times. Sometimes it will, sometimes it won’t, with no clear rhyme or reason.
