I’m not defending this shit by any means but I am partly conflicted.
It’s fine to talk with your money and take it elsewhere. However, I wonder what the CEOs and staff of other VPNs spend their money on and how far this goes.
Say this Mullvad dude donated 10% of his income to the campaign. If your local vape store guy, McDonalds owner or whoever gave 10% of theor income to man-o-sphere influencers or right wing parties (as is probably common) would people be as outraged and walk? Or is it lower stakes and doesn’t matter?
I guess ultimately, as a root issue, people shouldn’t able to make and hord wealth like this, nor fund politicians.
Again not defending this but it’s just made me think about some things.
