I think its not about the property of beeing a metall ist a bout beeing ferromagnetic (In that case probably not an issue because these bearing balls are usually out of some kind stainless steel. )
to be honest, i think most LLMs would do better in politics than actutal politicians. The problem I have with it is that I don’t write the prompts…
Wow: Balls of Steel AND Darwin Award at the same time…
Assume you have to vote for the next US president: There are just a few candidates left:
- ☐ Grok
- ☐ Claude
- ☐ Gemini
- ☐ ChatGPT
- ☐ Trump
What would you choose…I’d be happy if AI would be the only thing to worry about…

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Tailscale Services GA: App-aware connectivity with more controlEnglish
4·3 days agoNever got warm with all the UIs available. But things change very fast on that front. For me it looks like that they only differ by the time it takes to provide support for the newest headscale version. Just take the one supporting yours :) For SSO , the OIDC provider from Nextcloud is working as good as any other. Having some kind of static IP also helps but the headscale server runs on HTTPS port plus some optional ones (not sure if I remember correctly) dynamic dns should be ok as well.
Why are you asking? Are you looking for like-minded people?

51·3 days agoMy two cents: Hugo+HTTP-Server should perform better when confronted with all the AI crawler bots as only a static site is served. Lemmy or Pifed is diffrent in that aspect. For small blogs it shouldn’t matter (jet)…

6·3 days agoI did it about 8 months ago… it just works like black magic. It’s a “fire and forget” VPN, but SSO is a must in my opinion; otherwise, key exchange is too tedious.

3·3 days agoOk however its hard for me to believe that such measures could render effective. Regulating the tech literate people in such a way will always fail. The only effect it could have is that when its illegal to posses a unregistered/hacked you are an easier target for “law enforcement actions”

97·4 days agoSorry, I’m just a guy from overseas trying to understand why, in a country where 1 out of 4 people possess weapons, the 3D printer is the problem. I mean, there are companies selling industrial-grade firearms—why the heck is the 3D printer the target?

101·4 days agoAs a teenager, I found out that this stuff works like a charm if you aren’t the ‘cool guy’ in school. I saw the same thing in university, during smokes between classes and drinks after lectures. All the intelligent, nerdy guys became much more open and welcoming toward me.
My advice: Keep doing what you’re doing until you feel like you’re in the smarter half of the room. That’s the sign that you’re doing it too much.

One short warning, US versions on EU hardware could lead to unexpected behavior as the binary blops expect altitudes and speed measured in USCS and not in meters as the EU model sensors do.

28·4 days agoWhats wrong with using the metric system to represent quantities? Its the default on pretty much everything except fueling planes or operating satellites. /s
The conflict arises from having two different defaults for the same action. Since users frequently switch between these environments, the lack of a universal shortcut causes constant friction.
