But hey, at least we’re harder to mislead and we understand the media we consume better.

This is the male fantasy in a nutshell
“But she’s a 500 year old [dragon/elf/vampire/etc] in human form, it’s fine bro.”
Looks like a child, acts like a child, would be considered a child by their own culture/species: That’s a child bro.
I’d like to say I’ve never had that conversation but I have.
“Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid” was fine (though not everyone’s cup of tea) until they started to sexualize the minors (which was basically at the introduction of the child “dragon”). Then I stopped watching it. And from what I hear, I picked a good spot to stop watching as it only got worse from there in regards to the minor characters.
EDIT: I should probably clarify for those that think I support that kind of content, I do not.

Different strokes for different folks
With a member that big, even physics’ knees get weak.
Yeah I can wear my flowy showy shirts and pants during the summer.
But I can’t wear my turtlenecks, scarves, or snugly jackets. Not to mention that sitting under a nice hearty blanket sipping cocoa on a crisp evening.
The summer I can chill in the shade of trees sipping iced tea though which is also hella nice.
Both have perks and draw backs.

Man that brings me back
I think it’s more that they have a tenuous grasp on their own sexuality, and anything that makes them question (or realize that it CAN be a question) shakes their very concept of self. They define themselves by their sexuality and having that foundational part of themselves potentially called into question terrifies them.
Too many people are afraid of the fact that you can change. And that applies to all parts of yourself.
There’s only one point in life when it’s too late to change and that’s when you’re dead.
OMG I didn’t even see them until you pointed them out lol
Ass is ass, either way I’m down
I’d have some hangups being mislead though

2·14 days agoI think you’re right.
My reading of their comment (the parent comment, not the one you replied to) was that they were commiserating about the awful heat and being thankful for the fact that they have AC while also highlighting that the heat can quickly turn deadly if you’re not prepared for it.
The person you replied to on the other hand: I’m interpreting their comment as treating all of Texas (if not the US) as a singular political body (basically: who wins the election got 100% of the vote) and is blaming the commenter for the outcomes of those elections and the current heat waves. They also seem to be taking the parent commenter’s comment as an angle for attacking them as if they would attack somebody directly responsible for what’s going on.
This is unfortunately quite common online with people. Also IRL but people are less inclined IMO to be so rash and confrontational IRL than online as online you can “fire from the hip” with comments without any fears of repercussions really.

If you check the source the comic is a little over 4 years old, so I 'm gonna say it’s a strong “Not AI”
Time to share this cursed knowledge with my group chat, it’s been a few weeks since they muted me lol

The tools to see the faults yes, we need to drive to take the steps to build the world we wish to live in.
But without the tools to see it’s faults we could never build a better tomorrow.
