Mr. Sunshine sometimes visits. Usually, though, it’s video games, ranting, a little stupid trivia.
I’m a good listener when no one’s screaming.
I dabble in the #GodotEngine.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What's something you no longer buy due to intrusive, insidious technology being added into it?
1·7 days ago@Guitar That sucks. I use a PineTime. It has few features, but the battery life is pretty good.
@cannedtuna Sarah’s stuff is good.
@laurenceOfSuburbia Makes me think of the band Devo. I believe the name is short for “devolution”. Though I think they meant something else.

Lemmy Shitpost@lemmy.world•This guy managed the movie theater I worked at in high school.
7·14 days ago@ivanafterall Wait, so are they the baby, or are they not the baby?
@Treczoks That doesn’t look like a sports car, either.

politics @lemmy.world•Democrat James Talarico seeks to unite party, says Texas is 'no place for guys like Ken Paxton'
1·19 days ago@jaschen306 No, I’m not trying to discredit the man. It’s just that I was misinformed.
I was confused about his party affiliations at first. However, after some reading, sounds like he’s a good guy.

politics @lemmy.world•Democrat James Talarico seeks to unite party, says Texas is 'no place for guys like Ken Paxton'
0·19 days ago@jaschen306 James sounds like a guy who wants to change things. But I don’t know if he’ll be able to get past the old fools that currently run the Democratic party.

Games@lemmy.world•Some of Android's Most Interesting Games Aren't on the Play Store
9·28 days ago@PerfectDark Here are some that I’ve found on F-Droid. I don’t know if they’re on the Play Store, though.
* Vector Pinball: an oldy, but a goody.
* PipePanic: a Pipe Dreams clone.
* FlowIt!: color in all the squares. It’s harder than it sound.
* Ball2Box: get the ball through the obstacles, and into the box.
* IED: Minesweeper, but in 3D. Made with the Godot Engine.
* Gurgle: a Wordle clone.
* Roboyard: Move the robots around a maze to where they need to go.
@Return_of_Chippy At this point in Steven’s life, he probably wouldn’t care who’s drinking, so long as they didn’t drive.
@MTZ Darn it, they’re right: I do need to check my tire pressure.

@Rheinish Look, if they’re no longer going to use and maintain the Tech engine, maybe they could something worthwhile with it, like making it open source? I know there’s a snowball’s chance in hell that will happen. But Carmack’s legacy with the studio has got to mean something.
