I was working on a VW Vanagon Campmobile and the blower motor I replaced was made in West Germany. Probably not the only thing since it was pre wall fall. When I bought my Vanagon 8-9 years ago, the spare tire still said made in west Germany!
I replaced it along with the rest of the badly work truck tires that were on it.
