We would like to absolve ourselves of complicity but the reality is that each American, in their own small way, has contributed to the systemic corruption we all suffer from. It’s a difficult thing. Many of us, most of us suffer disproportionately to the aristocracy, yet we carry on, and we let them continue with their schemes.
