Trump has threatened to deploy the military against the “enemy within” and has recently promoted the idea that “democratic socialism must be criminalized.”
Wonder how they’ll get around the Posse Comitatus Act.
The same way they got around existing law in a number of other cases in the past years: ignoring it, or letting SCOTUS decide that it’s OK. Or claiming “national emergency”.
Not saying the courts shouldn’t fight back though.

Also, nearly ALL of these assholes equate socialism with communism. And the ones that don’t say they are the same thing will typically claim socialism is a slippery slope straight to Soviet style communism under Stalin.
