I actually feel like that’s the opposite, where someone you usually can’t stand makes a very well articulated and reasonable point. I enjoy those moments because it showcases dynamic character, “This person you dislike is still capable of critical thinking and worth engaging with from time to time.” That tends to restore my faith in humanity a lot lol
