Why is this comment such a deja vu?

That’s not a bad idea, honestly.

The out-of-context comment here does not look like he is attacking anything, just giving a general opinion that you might disagree with. With the context cowbee provided, it looks a lot more like an attack.
Still, I don’t understand why you’re reacting like this. Other instances have tried imposing their views in other instances as well. This is not a one side problem and not really solvable in any practical way. Getting mad certainly wouldn’t stop them and would mostly harm you from the stress than anything else. The best way is to just block people like that and move on with your life.

If there is no other context, it does seem like he is implying that all socialism is ruled by dictators. And yes, I’ve seen the modlogs and saw the transphobe comment on just the first page. Quite the icky guy to deal with.
At the same time, the modlogs also shows I’m still not a fan of how the ml instance does moderation, since some of the comments didn’t seem remove worthy. Ah well, I’ll just tag this guy as a shit-stirring transphobe and move on.

Is he imposing his idealogy in the post or just stating an opinion?

Is your instance federated with them?

What is your argument anyway?

Did he imply that in a different comment? Because the one he posted doesn’t.

And my point stands, she lost more voters taking the money than she gained.

We were talking about her losing the election. That’s about voters, not money.

But would she have lost more votes from people with money than she wouldn’t have lost from the average voter had she not pivoted? Given that people with enough money to be called wealthy are the minority, I don’t believe so.

Would she? What part of the money she received made her pivot to the right more palatable to the average voter?

All I need and want are hard drives.

All that financial backing didn’t help her win. She would rather lose the election than lose a source of money.

Sure, then that’s two of us.

You’re going into topics nobody was talking about. I think you need to improve your own reading comprehension before asking others to improve their intellect.

Lemmy.ml can’t help just proving people’s points lol
Why they’re banned is not about how bad it smells directly, but about how long the smell lasts in the room even after you take it out, and how much worse it becomes before it disappears.

Aren’t Bitwarden clients open-source?
I can’t tell if you’re serious or not.
